3 Top Tips to Boost
your Metabolism

"You have 2 kids.

Of course you're
tired all the time."

"You're getting older.

It's natural to gain weight."

“As you age your metabolism

Naturally slows down.”

“It’s normal to lose

Your zing past 40.”

Those symptoms
don't need to be part
of your everyday life.

These are the exact phrases my clients have heard from their doctors, their family members, their friends… everyone.

And they're tired of it.

They’re tired of having their very real, often very scary health concerns be dismissed because they’re a woman or they’re getting older.
If any of this sounds familiar, then I want you to know you’re in the right place.
I also want you to know that the symptoms you’re experiencing – no matter how big or how insignificant they may seem – are a sign that something is going on with your health.

Hi, I'm Naomi.

I’m a Naturopath determined to help
women everywhere discover what
“normal” really is for them.

Because the real normal is waking up each day, ready to enjoy life, feeling calm and positive with boundless amounts of energy.

I can say this with absolute certainty because I’ve seen this shift happen for thousands of clients. Women who, just like you, thought they would always have to “deal with” their symptoms.

I can also say this because I’ve lived it myself.

Here's my story...

When I was 13 years old, I developed ovarian cysts. I remember going into the doctor in such pain. And I remember, very clearly, him telling my mother,

“Oh, she’s just got an eating disorder.”

Turns out, I actually had
a ruptured ovarian cyst.

That was just my first experience with a doctor dismissing my very real (and very painful) symptoms.

I was put on the pill at a young age to take care of my painful periods. The pill caused depression, anxiety and meant I was not having a real cycle from that very important developmental time into my adult life.

Then, through my early 20’s, I was chronically fatigued. I felt puffy all the time. I got rashes, and was constantly catching coughs and colds.

And I felt depressed and sad.

Both of my parents had thyroid problems, so I knew what the signs were, and what to look out for. And I kept trying to ask my doctors,

"Do you think there's something wrong with my thyroid?"

But they kept telling me everything

was fine and normal

And they never thought to do any more robust testing than the standard blood test. I remember trying to get the answers and pushing my doctor to test, but instead he took me off the pill and stuck a contraceptive rod in my arm, which meant for the next three years I did not menstruate and my low moods and fatigue were only compounded.

After feeling off for about 4 years (and slowly getting worse during that whole time), I was determined to get this figured out.

I went to two different doctors in a row, with the same results. I was so deflated, and so lost, feeling like there weren’t any answers, not knowing where to turn next. I tried to research, ask the right questions, but didn’t know who could help me.

This terrible feeling become my reality, my normal health.

I put up with the fatigue, pain and moods, and I believed that this ultimately was who I was. That it was my personality and nothing could be done.

That’s when my partner booked an
appointment for me with
a Naturopath.

I had never heard of
naturopathy before.

I was willing to try anything at this point.

The very first thing I noticed in my appointment was just how much this person cared.

I was used to my doctors appointments lasting only a few minutes. They’d ask very briefly about my health history and my symptoms, and then send me on my way. (And I always felt like they didn’t really want to hear about my problems.)

But this Naturopath sat with me for a full hour. And I thought,

“Wow, this person really wants to help me heal.”

And that’s exactly what happened.

She helped me identify nutrient deficiencies, and worked on rectifying those through supplementation. She helped me with a diet plan to remove foods that were causing inflammation and causing my immune system to flounder. I learned to include foods that actually nourished my adrenals and thyroid gland.

The first change I noticed was that I stopped
getting sick. From there, everything balanced out.

My energy increased. The puffiness faded.

My cold hands (and constant feeling of being chilled) went away. My mood stabilized. I didn’t feel sad any more.
That was my turning point year. When I saw how this was working, I started to learn more about diet and health.

I started studying Naturopathy at night… then quit my job to study full time… and became certified.

Today, I've helped thousands of
women who are dealing with similar
struggles to what I went through.

I help women connect the dots and find the answers, so they can feel happy, glowing , positive and spend their days with boundless amounts of energy.
